Missions

In addition to the campaign engine, there is the concept of missions, which allows modeling (through campaigns) gamified behaviors and awarding benefits if the user achieves a certain goal, for example:

  • Buying the same product three times in the last three months.
  • Making a specific purchase of a new product
  • Buying an international flight ticket and paying for an additional suitcase
  • Etc.

Missions enable the configuration of campaigns more simply by setting objectives and effects through a wizard, without needing to configure a more complex campaign.

Setting mission's optional Audience:

You can execute actions within a campaign that are restricted to specific audiences.

This capability allows for targeted engagement and rewards, ensuring that campaign actions align closely with the interests or behaviors of designated groups.

Similarly, this behavior can be configured in the missions wizard, allowing for granular control over who is eligible to participate in certain missions. This feature enables the customization of both campaigns and missions to meet the unique needs of different audience segments.

Mission Audience

Audiences function as matchers that assess the current member profile to filter out members who do not match a specified audience criteria.

This mechanism acts as a rules evaluation criterion for campaigns, allowing campaigns to target members based on specific profile attributes, behaviors, or other defined characteristics.

Essentially, this means that a campaign will only affect or be visible to members whose profiles align with the predetermined audience parameters, ensuring that campaign efforts are focused and relevant to those who meet the set criteria.
