How it Works

A ledger account facilitates the management of wallets for all members on the platform. Consequently, each member has a wallet linked to all active accounts in the system. Peer-to-peer transfers between two wallets are possible but only within the same account. It is not permitted to move points between two different ledger accounts.

The relationship hierarchy is: Ledger -> Account -> Wallet.

Simultaneously, each ledger account has an Escrow Wallet (not assigned to any member). Upon account creation, the initially issued points are distributed within this Escrow account.

It's possible to specify the initial total of points issued in the escrow account or set an infinite limit.

Each ledger account operates in one of two modes concerning its Escrow account:

  1. Revolving: Points that are burned or destroyed return to the escrow account.
  2. Non-revolving: Points that are burned or destroyed do not return to the escrow account and are permanently eliminated.
